ACRF Summertime Blues

Shardae (Shady) is a fleece monster! She shears a heavier blanket than many of our larger alpacas. She is has a beautifully compact conformation and a very typey head. She produces a very long staple. Her crimp style is a little bolder than some, but she is maintaining her fineness even at age 5. We had bred her to Snowmass Golden Chaccu last year and after a very easy birth she gave us a stunning little dark brown male with black points. Her son has very nice confirmation and beautiful presence. He has very nice fleece. We were impressed enough with him to repeat the breeding for her next cria which should be born next July. Shady is a very attentive mother with lots of milk. Her cria is growing very well.
