ACRF Mariposa

Mariposa is named for the beautiful butterfly mask on her face. However, we started calling her Ditto because she is almost an exact copy of her half brother King Charles. They share the same sire, our Simba who nearly always throws a cria with a white necklace and white front legs and also with super dense fleece. Ditto is a very heavy-boned, boxy girl. She weighed 82 lbs at 6 months! Her conformation is excellent and she comes from a line of females with excellent mothering skills.

She has a bolder style crimp, but with her great conformation and other attributes we believe she will be an excellent addition to a breeding program. We would certainly breed her to a very crimpy and fine male. Simba produces offspring with uniform, dense fleece with a very long staple and that maintains it's fineness. He is 22 micron at age 8 and still has excellent staple. Her fiber will be sent for a histogram soon and the results will be posted.
